Mission Statement
To represent Virginia's cannabis community at the General Assembly and around the state, and to promote a regulated cannabis market by legalizing the responsible use, cultivation, and distribution of cannabis products.
Virginia NORML is an officially recognized state affiliate of NORML, The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, located in Washington D.C.
Virginia NORML is a 501(c)(4) corporation. Because Virginia NORML lobbies state and federal legislators, donations and contributions to Virginia NORML are not tax deductible. Any payments of dues to Virginia NORML are not deductible as a business expense.
About NORML
Since its founding in 1970, NORML has provided a voice in the public policy debate for those Americans who oppose marijuana prohibition and favor an end to the practice of arresting marijuana smokers. A nonprofit public-interest advocacy group, NORML represents the interests of the tens of millions of Americans who smoke marijuana responsibly.
